My friend has a very cute blog called My Happy Thought. She blogs about happy stuff all the time!!! Her happy thoughts include Disneyland, Halloween, photography, fairies, princesses and happily ever after! She made it to having 100 followers and is doing a giveaway. I get an extra entry from mentioning her blog on my blog, so this is it!! :)
Since she got me thinking about Halloween, I have been trying to think about what we should be. I think it would be fun to have a family theme costume.....dad, mom, and brand new baby. Anyone have any ideas of what would be cute, cheap, and easy to make?
Also, she makes me want to go to Disneyland SO bad. Alex has never been. When Leah is old enough to have someone watch her, we want someone to come to Disneyland with us and do a trade-off......I watch your kid(s) while you play, you watch mine while we have fun, etc. Who wants to come to Disneyland with me?
My happy thoughts:
Alex; he brought me chocolate, did the dishes, and gave me a back rub yesterday! Love him!! Cuddling up with a good movie, going on walks together, searching real estate websites to find our dream home (or a better apartment), rearranging our apartment, games, dates, love notes, surprises!
Leah; likes to be up in the middle of the night to give me a chance to write this blog. Silly girl! Staring at her, trying to get her to smile, having singing time, her funny grunting when trying to get her hand out of being swaddled, sneezes, cuddling!
Family; calling my mom 3 times a day, playing games with siblings, talking with my cousin on facebook almost every day, tickling nieces and nephews!
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints; including the recent General Conference: and Uchtdorf's talk at the Relief Society session!! The Book of Mormon, Plan of Salvation, Temples!
Rain; the smell, the fresh-ness, lightning, puddle stomping...
Using new recipes and having them turn out!
Making baby booties!
Our neighbor friends; playing games, sharing food, randomly walking in to their apartment to say hi, laughing, talking, telling jokes!
Camping, hiking, playing at the park, going on walks, staring at my baby, reading books, discovering new things, finding ways to make daily life easier (menu planning, chore lists, schedules, to-do lists), stuffed animals, and ORANGE!!
