1. We don't want a new car because that equals monthly car payments.
2. We spend our store credit on stamps so we can send 'thank you' cards.
3. We don't dress up for Halloween because it's dumb.
4. We don't spend our money on dumb things like haunted tunnels.
5. We don't like to stay out and party until all hours of the night.
6. We'd rather be with each other than in a crowd of people.
7. We don't like school dances/stomps/whatever they are.
8. We walk out of comedian shows at the first sign of inappropriacy.
9. We bargain for any discount we can get.
10. We didn't ever have to 'take a break' from each other.
I love my husband!!!
And he loves me!!!

54 Pieces of Pyrex can't go wrong!

Kristen and I recieved so much Pyrex for our wedding that we have decided it is way too over-rated! We had such a mountain of it that we thought it would be fun and even funny to take a picture of it all before we returned some of it.
I don't think this picture really shows the mountain very well but there are 54 pieces and I think we even missed one of our other ones that is in the kitchen cabinet still. We think Pyrex is fancy and great, but yes definitely over-rated! It was nice to be able to get about $80 from half of the pyrex that we returned to Wal-mart. We still have more to return but that was a start.

Married Life!!!

So, it's almost been a week. Crazy!!! Sometimes I don't even think it's real; that the whole things is just a dream and I'll wake up from it later. But then I do wake up, and Alex is next to me, and it's one of the most wonderful feelings anyone could ever have. And that I get to have him FOREVER!!!!.....That's even better.
It is kinda rude that we had to go back to school on Monday. The weekend wasn't quite long enough. But that's ok. Today, for my art class homework, I had to draw a brown paper bag. If I can get my camera working I'll post a picture of it, because (if I don't say so myself) it looks pretty dang good!!! We are working on values, so the brown paper bag is all shaded in and everything and the crease marks look really awesome. I like that I am to the point that I can actually draw something and people would be able to tell what it is!!! That makes me happy.
Well, this is about all the time I have. I neeed to go study for a 'courtship and marriage' test. Oh boy. Aren't I living the test now? jk!! :)
Love you all. Thanks for everything you did and helped with last weekend. And thank you all for coming. It was really neat to have everyone in the sealing room together. It was like a reminder that all of us are sealed together as family for all of eternity!! I'm only sorry that I wasn't able to spend more time with all of you. But that's how life goes. It was great to see everyone!!
Talk to you later!

I'm getting married!!! I'm getting married!!!

So, this is the only five seconds that I have this week. Honestly, I am so busy, and the only reason I have a minute is because I'm waiting for lunch to cook. Alex and I are both super jam-packed with things to do. And I feel really bad for him because he also has a few huge architecture assignments and a biology test. On top of that we are going to the Manti temple this afternoon, exchanging my big garments, scanning pictures, making a scrapbook, finding music for background and dancing, making sure things go together....all that on top of going to our many classes.....and trying to find time to move me into his house. Hmm!! Today and tomorrow are insane, and I'm sure Thursday will be pretty crazy too, but fun!! I'm so excited. And if things don't come together......oh well!! It will be fantastic!!
Well, lunch is ready now. Gotta go.
Love ya!

Something... lots of somethings

I must say that shoplifters are dorks! Yesterday at work we caught a really stupid one... He had two stupidities that were really big... one he used a credit card with his name on it, and two he was on camera. This David Huntington shoplifter guy thought he was being smart when he picked up a $15 flashlight from the counter after making his purchases to "see it." He made the motions of putting it back but then palmed it and stuffed it in his pocket. What a dork. My co-worker who was with me that day he robbed it had noticed that when we opened the store there were two of them but later in the day there was only one and we didn't sell one. Yeah anyways... we got looking at the computer stuff and times proved it was him. When we looked at the computer system we also noticed that it must have happened some other 6 times apparently... but we caught David because my co-worker made a good mental note.
On Thursday Kristen and I got to see a Boa Constrictor eat a pretty big rat! That was really cool. The rat went walking around in the boa's cage as if nothing were wrong and then he realized he was snatched up and being killed to be eaten by the snake... it was really cool.

On Friday we went to my mission reunion and well that was fun and interesting to see some of the old missionaries. It was a great experience.
I have to admit that one of my biggest pet peeves right now is when people ask, "When's the 'big day'?" Any day can be a big day if you make it one... it's like they are afraid to say "when is your wedding?" I really wish that people didn't have a fear of the words 'wedding' and 'marriage' as they seem to have. I think is is plain dumb that people say 'big day'. Anyways I will quit on that one even though I could go on for a million years... just please don't be one of those people who asks anyone "When's the big day?"
I love General Conference. Some of my other pet peeves are those people who come to church in colored shirts instead of white ones... especially returned missionaries. What did they not learn or not teach?! Go conference for reminding people that we wear white shirts for a reason. Another pet peeve is those people who bring their phones to church and don't bother to turn the sound off at least... it is a killer of the spirit and anyways... go conference for the reminder to people that cell phones aren't life and don't belong in church!
