25 Days of Christmas

This year I wanted the entire Christmas season to be special, so I came up with my own "25 Days of Christmas" things to do with my family each night/day this month.  If anyone wants to do it in your own family, here are our ideas!!!

Nov 30---This night we put up our Christmas lights outside.
Dec 1---We got a new Christmas CD and ate cordial cherries.
Dec 2---We put up our little Christmas trees, lights and stockings inside (and rearranged so our big, real tree will fit later).

The others aren't necessarily in order....
3---Make Mistle"toes".
4---Make Popsicle stick snowflakes.
5---Make ornament wreath.
6---Ward Christmas party.
7---New puzzle (from the $1 store!).
8---Take family pictures for our Christmas card.
9---Christmas coloring book.
10---Read Christmas stories.
11---Make paper snowflakes.
12---Sing Christmas songs....caroling.
13---Watch a Christmas movie/cartoon.
14---Cotton ball Santa Clause.
15---Take friend/neighbor gifts around.
16---Cream Cheese Mints.
17---Drive around to see Christmas lights in Moroni.
18---Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Christensen.
19---Games, fireplace, hot chocolate in South Jordan.
20---Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Thornbrue.
21---Peppermint brownies, green bathtub (for Leah), hot chocolate.
22---Drive around to see lights in Logan.
23---Read the Nativity for FHE.
24---Christmas Eve dinner.....New jammies/blanket and Christmas stories/cartoon.
25---CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!

Thanksgiving!!

We did Thanksgiving with my parents 2 weeks early.  My mom was sick of all the toys at her house, so she brought home a bunch of new things to play with.  The ball pit was a hit!!!

Leah with straightened hair, make-up, and doing the dolls hair.  So sweet!

Cute sisters!

Caramel made from sweetened condensed milk. Yum!

Sleepy baby!

Emry getting into trouble!!!

Leah getting into trouble!!!

So close to crawling!!

Taking her jammies off.

A fun swing set at Grandma and Grandpa Christensen's house!!

Mommy goes for a ride!!

Getting into trouble again!!  :)

Our "Thankful" Turkey!

Turkey handprints and Leah's masterpiece!

I put curlers in Leah's hair the other night.  3 of them lasted until morning.  There was a pile of them next to her......probably too uncomfortable to sleep in.

These cuddles don't happen very often.  My favorite!!

Emry loved these glasses!!  So silly!!

A great Thanksgiving was had by all!!!!  So grateful for both of our families!!!  A shout out to my hard working husband.....I am so grateful to him.  I don't think I'll see him for the next 2 weeks as finals are coming up, but I sure am proud of all the work he's been putting into his studies and projects and other work.  I am also so grateful for my 2 sweet girls.  They are the light of my life.  Even though Emry is sitting here screaming at me to be done (almost, baby), they are both the sweetest and best kids I could ever ask for!!!  Lots to be thankful for this year!!!
