May adventures!

We took an adventure to First Dam to feed the ducks/geese.  Emry wasn't too impressed.

Leah was adorable!

Looking for more ducks.

Sometimes the mother goose would hiss at Leah, because Leah got too close to her babies.....well, then I had to hiss at the goose because she was getting too close to MY baby!!!  Ha ha!

Feeding bread to the ducks.

Leah's best friends came to play with us!!

Emry got a little sunburned on her cheeks, but it's nothing a little hug with the peanut butter jar won't fix.

Later we had a picnic up at Second Dam.  It was beautiful.  I had to snap some photos of my kids.

What a beautiful girl!!

Emry is so good at walking.....and I love how her right arm is usually in the air.  Sweetheart!

Playing in a swimming pool with friends.  It was too cold for Leah.

Emry liked to touch it, though!

Alex grew a goatee for a week and a half.  :)

Cute girls watching Frozen together.  I was babysitting, and both girls needed a nap and were fighting a lot....this was a perfect solution!!  Leah likes to quote this movie a lot.....she'll randomly say, "The love experts?" or "Kristoff's home!!" or "I don't care what you're going to say, let the storm rage on, the cold never bothered me anyways."  Silly kid!

Tuckered out.  I even did the diaper change and she stayed asleep after.  Poor baby.  It's exhausting being ONE!!!

Cousins

I took this picture of Emry when she was eating her birthday cake.....as soon as I looked at it, it reminded me of another picture I took 6 years ago of my nephew, Ezra.  They kind of have the same eyes and ears and nose.  Cute cousins!!

I'm so proud of Alex for finishing his degree with these two crazy kids!!  What a great example he will be to our girls when they head to college!

Handsome graduate!

Emry's other birthday present. She is a climber, so we got her a slide that is just her size!

It was a success!

Emry is ONE!

And Leah is cute!
Alex has a job all lined up.....we are just waiting for them to give him a start date.  I am anxious to move and get going, but Alex has more patience and is fine to continue working here until things start.  His job is at Hill Air Force Base as a civilian engineer in the software maintenance group.  He has been meeting with different supervisors to see who he could work with and he gets to partially choose where he'd like to go.  Then we'll head down to Clearfield area and find a new place to live.  Leah is excited to "pack up all our stuff and sleep in a new house"! (I'm trying to prepare her!)
Stay tuned.  Good things are coming!
