This little girl is 3 months old today!!!!!!!

One week

3 months

 This little cutie has started laughing recently and it melts our hearts every time.  She smiles at everyone and everything now, too!!  So cute!!  She also went for about a month of sleeping 7, 8, or once 10 hours at night.  This past week she's back to going to bed at 11:30 waking up at 3 and 5:30 and 7:30.  Not quite as nice as 10:30-6:30, but that just means I get more time with my sweetheart!!  She's getting stronger at tummy time, but doesn't get very much practice because somebody (Leah) likes to squish her and love her a little too much.  Emry does a great job letting Leah tackle her, but enough's enough sometimes.  

This week we are house sitting in a mansion!!  It has been fun, but I kinda miss my dumpy little basement apartment.  I'm definitely getting lots of exercise living in the giant house because there are staircases everywhere and to get from the bedroom to the kitchen takes a full minute to walk!!  Leah has been loving the basement full of toys including a little tykes Cozy Coupe and Roller Coaster.  She also likes the 'Fruf, fruffs' (we're watching two dogs).  I'll get more pictures of our fun week later!!  This post is about Emry!!  We sure love you sweet cheeks!

Picture Overload!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has only been 8 days since the 4th of July, but I've been in a photographing mood.  And I remember to take my camera places.  And my kids are adorable.  This is only a fraction of the pictures I've taken in the last week.

4th of July.  Leah found the toy corner at Grandma and Grandpa Christensen's house.

So sweet!  Leah ran in the toddler races and won a quarter!!  :)

Waiting for the 'fires-works'.  When they started, though, she said, "Don't like it.  Shoulder."....And put her head on my shoulder and fell sound asleep.  Maybe next year!

We blessed Emry on Saturday at my parents house!  Thanks to everyone who came and made it special!!

And thank you, Mom, for the beautiful blessing dress!!  Emry looked adorable!

This is Grandma Thornbrue's 66th Great-Grandchild.  Grandma also turned 95 on Friday!!!

Emry's full name is Emry Joanna Christensen.  She is named after Grandma Jo.  And what a wonderful example of love, generosity, compassion, wisdom, and talent for Emry to look up to!

Happy at the family reunion.....not pictured, but I want to remember....Leah performed all of her animal noises for the talent show.  She did a great job and loved holding the microphone.

Squishy!

Weird bug I found outside my door.  Leah wouldn't play in her sandbox while it was there.  I told her to tell it to go away.  She then goes outside and says, "Go away, bug.  Go away!"

Happy that the bug is gone!

When I get out the camera, Leah always says 'cheese' then does her silly face.  What a goof!

Leah has no problems sharing......whether Emry likes it or not!

I handed Leah her underwear and told her to put them on....well, this is what we got....both legs through one hole and clear up to her armpits.  Then Emry's dress inside out acting like a skirt. Silly!

I took my girls on a picnic the other day.  It was beautiful.  You can get this picture in your head.....I had Leah in the hiking backpack, Emry in the front carrier, my diaper bag, camera bag, lunch box, and 2 small blankets!!!  I was a pack horse!!  But we had a great time!  Even though Leah did fall into the lake.  Oops!

If I could eat a peanut butter sandwich and look so cute, I'd eat one every day!

That scratch on her cheek comes from trying to open a pen lid too fast and accidentally jabbing the pen back into her cheek......yes, it drew blood.  Ouch!

Leah's necklace has a jingle bell on it!....to be like a cow bell!!!  We each got a sandwich, criss cut french fries and a drink.  I think it was worth safety pinning some spots on our clothes and doing a little face paint!!!

I can't tell you how hard it is to get a picture of the back of Leah....she likes the camera too much!!  She was a cute cow, though!

All the fun and excitement was exhausting!!!
