I even wired up a switch in the dashboard to turn them on and off with. Yeah, some people think I'm weird or wonder what's the point and my answer is that they are cool! I would put them under the kitchen cabinets if we owned this apt. but since we don't I'm not going to put them in. Anyone with a nice kitchen though, who would let me put them in... the lights come fairly cheap for the high-end look and value they add... pay me well enough and you will have a glorious kitchen with fabulous lighting! Pay me super-duper well and I'll do your car like mine too!
